About

We could see the tower

G Aircraft Detailing was born on Airport Loop Drive in Costa Mesa, a few hundred yards from the John Wayne Airport fence line. For years we watched jets taxi past while we built detail operations for cars people love. At some point the obvious question stopped being ignorable: who is taking care of the airplanes like this?

The honest answer was: almost nobody.

We went looking. What we found at Southern California airfields was a market where the incumbent at our home field had no website, the big national served the airport from a crew based ninety minutes up the 405, and nobody, not one operator, published their prices, their chemical qualifications, or their insurance. The airplanes are worth millions. The care standard was word of mouth and hope.

So we built the operator we would hire. Chemistry qualified to Boeing and SAE specifications, with lab reports in a binder, not adjectives on a flyer. Hangarkeepers insurance sized to the aircraft, because we learned what most vendors hope you never ask about. Crews that are badged, NATA-trained, and drilled on the one discipline that matters most: every probe covered, every cover counted back out, verified twice.

And we brought the thing our detail operation is actually known for: the subscription. Recurring appearance management with photographed proof, a signed QC sheet, and a service log that follows the tail number for life. Your aircraft doesn't get detailed when someone remembers. It gets managed.

Why SNA matters

Proximity is a service feature. Our operation lives minutes from every hangar row at John Wayne, which means quick-turn response measured in minutes, program visits scheduled around your actual ground windows, and a crew that can be at your hangar before an out-of-county vendor has cleared the parking lot. Long Beach and Carlsbad run on scheduled route days. SNA is home.
